Botanikos is an artisan tea shop that brings the essence of nature into every cup. Inspired by botanical wellness, the brand offers a curated selection of high-quality teas crafted to nourish the body and mind. This project aimed to develop a digital experience that reflects the purity, tranquility, and warmth of the Botanikos brand.

The goal of the Botanikos project was to design a website that immerses users in the world of premium teas. The interface needed to balance aesthetics with functionality, making product exploration seamless while embodying the brand’s artisanal and organic values.

Design Methodology

Collaborated closely with the Botanikos team to align the design with their brand vision. Through interactive brainstorming sessions, we identified key selling points, customer engagement strategies, and the best way to showcase their selection of artisan teas.

Researched the tea industry, target audience preferences, and market trends. Conducted a deep dive into how users explore and purchase specialty teas online to create a design that enhances the shopping experience.

Ideate

Brainstormed design concepts that capture the sensory experience of tea drinking. Explored various layouts and interactions that would create an inviting and informative journey for visitors.

Branding

Developed a visual identity that conveys warmth, authenticity, and craftsmanship. The color palette, typography, and imagery were chosen to reflect the natural origins of Botanikos teas.

Prototype

Created interactive prototypes to map out the user journey, ensuring smooth navigation and an intuitive shopping experience. Focused on showcasing tea varieties while maintaining a calming, minimalist interface.

Design

Refined the interface with elegant visuals, balancing clean layouts with organic textures. Integrated product storytelling elements to highlight the rich history and benefits of each tea blend.

Style and Tone

The Botanikos website was designed to evoke a sense of tranquility and refinement. The color palette consists of earthy greens, soft neutrals, and warm amber tones, reflecting the natural ingredients and craftsmanship behind the teas.

Final Design

With the branding and wireframes in place, I developed the high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) design to bring Botanikos to life. This process involved crafting an intuitive layout that highlights different tea varieties, creating engaging product pages that educate customers about tea origins, flavors, and benefits, and implementing soft animations and visual storytelling to enhance the browsing experience.
